Dr. Stefan Snyder, M.D. left general medicine when he saw a need for preventative medicine in 1982. he noticed the root of common disease and various conditions boil down to one main factor: obesity. he found you can cure many conditions by finding a healthy lifestyle and balancing weight. he began practicing bariatric medicine and opened what would become the first alpha medical weight loss clinic in west los angeles in 1985. his passion for health has led to expansion throughout the los angeles area, with five alpha medical clinics still operating today.
